TRUMP- RUSSIA COLLUSION INVESTIGATION RAISES NEARLY A DOZEN FAT QUESTIONS AFTER THE COHEN AND MANAFORT BOMBSHELLS TUESDAY

bY CRIMSON TAZVINZWA//Three hours after lunch (Greenwich Meantime) Tuesday, arguably one of the most consequential hours in the history of the American people and their presidium, decided that history books that shall be written and published from now henceforth, will only and almost certainly reference Donald Trump’s surprise 2016 election win with an asterisk.

No longer the three musketeers

Seaparated by no more than half-an-hour, in courtrooms both in New York and outside Washington, DC, two of Trump’s closest aides—his longtime personal lawyer and his former campaign chairman—became felons, as the former pleaded guilty to eight criminal charges, and the latter was found guilty by a jury on eight  charges out of eighteen.

It is interesting to note that while Paul Manafort remained as obstinate as a ‘mule’ till to the end; Michael Cohen on the other hand is embracing what reports are labeling a perfect transformation; an ‘evolution’, a ‘self realignment with truth, morality and the rule of law’. He has just managed to extricate himself and bolted out of the highly toxic ‘radio-active area’.

The events of the past few days in ‘Trump-world’ have only managed to shade light on the workings of the president and  ‘president’s guilty men’; but yet provides no answers to the following questions;

  • If those payments were a crime for Michael Cohen, then why wouldn’t they be a crime for Donald Trump?’ – LANNY DAVIS, COHEN’S LAWYER
  • Has President Donald Trump become an un-indicted  co-conspirator in the Russia election meddling?
  • How long does Paul Manafort go to prison?
  • What will Michael Cohen say?
  • What happens next with “Individual-1”?
  • Where does Robert Mueller go next?’
  • If those payments were a crime for Michael Cohen, then why wouldn’t they be a crime for Donald Trump?’ – LANNY DAVIS, COHEN’S LAWYER
  • What other investigations—and crimes—are out there that we don’t know
  • When does this cross over from the courts to politics?
  • Can Mike Pence really take over the presidency from Donald Trump?
After Tuesday, the 2016 Trump victory appears increasingly tainted, the American presidency as the spoils of ill-gotten gains.
