After enforcing Theresa May’s hostile environment in the Home Office, Amber Ruddwill now be in charge of the DWP’s hostile environment for disabled people and the poorest in society.
With universal credit in absolute shambles, appointing a disgraced former minister who was only recently forced to resign for her role in another scandal is a desperate choice by a weak prime minister.


Peter Cassidy, stv news|AIWA! NO! |Tory MP Steve Barclay has been appointed as the government’s new Brexit Secretary.

The member of parliament for North East Cambridge will replace previous incumbent Dominic Raab who resigned from the role on Thursday.

Barclay, who backed Brexit during the 2016 referendum, has been serving as a minister at the department of health and social care.

Raab quit the role over Theresa May’s withdrawal agreement that was revealed on Wednesday.
