A replica of New York’s famous “Fearless Girl” statue has been unveiled outside the London Stock Exchange in support of greater female representation on corporate boards.
The bronze sculpture of a young girl with her fists on her hips will stay in Paternoster Square near St Paul’s Cathedral for the next three months in support of greater diversity in the City. Its original version by sculptor Kristen Visbal first appeared in New York in 2017, where it was placed opposite the charging bull statue near Wall Street.
