If Liverpool were to sign Kai Havertz he would likely fill in as the successor to Philippe Coutinho. Jürgen Klopp is yet to find a replacement for the Brazilian that departed for Barcelona in 2018.

Whilst Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita have chipped in with goals, neither possess the flair and dribbling ability of Coutinho and Havertz.

By signing the 20-year-old, Klopp would be bagging one of the most sought after attacking midfielders in the world. The youngster is German, he’d love to play for Jürgen. He is young enough for Klopp to mould, it all makes sense. Could he be the big money Nike signing?
