Prime Minister Theresa May said Tuesday that she will seek to further delay Britain's exit from the European Union and seek to make an accord with the political opposition in a bid to break the Brexit impasse.

May made the announcement after the E.U.'s chief negotiator warned that a chaotic and costly Brexit was likely in just 10 days unless Britain snapped out of the political crisis that has paralyzed the government and Parliament.

The Minister for Wales resigned today after Theresa May announced a compromise deal with Jeremy Corbyn in order to make progress on Brexit.

Nigel Adams MP became the first to go following yesterday’s marathon cabinet meeting, quitting as a junior minister and as an assistant Conservative whip.

In a scathing letter, he accused Mrs May of “cooking up” a deal “with a Marxist who has never once in his political life put British interests first.”
