|CRIMSON TAZVINZWA, AIWA! NO!|The British government are selling billions of pounds worth of weapons to Saudi Arabia, fuelling a dreadful conflict that’s left 22 million people struggling simply to survive.
Over 16,000 people have been killed. Despite this unimaginable human suffering, the UK government has shown no signs of halting their sales.
Spiralling inflation in Yemen has nearly doubled the cost of feeding a family, while at the same time halving incomes.

Medicine prices have soared as well, with some people unable to buy any at all and others forced to buy and take less than they need.
Right now, more than 22 million people in Yemen are relying on humanitarian assistance simply to survive.
Over 16,000 civilians have died in the conflict, and many as a direct result of Saudi-led airstrikes on the country.
Meanwhile, the UK continues to provide weapons to those committing these horrific violations. This has to stop.
I urge you to suspend all arms transfers to members of the Saudi led coalition carrying out attacks in Yemen, including weapons, arms, munition and ammunition, parts and components and other equipment or technology that pose a substantial risk that they could be used to commit or facilitate serious violations of international humanitarian law in this conflict.
