By Crimson Tazvinzwa///Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s maiden election campaign in dissaray after it emerges a minister in his cabinet used a fake video to discredit his opponent.

Mr Boris Johnson’s election campaign launch marred by the resignation of one of his ministers, a gaffe about the victims of a deadly blaze at Grenfeel Tower in London and a doctored video of an opponent released by his party.

Jacob Rees-Mogg has apologised “profoundly” for suggesting that residents of Grenfell tower should have used their “common sense” to escape the catastrophic fire of 2017 which killed 72 people.


The PM  called for a snap December 12 general election in a bid to ‘break the Brexit deadlock’ that he says has paralysed Britain for more than three years.
